Dear Geeta,

I am feeling a bit uneasy to express myself but I am determined to do so. I can see the same uneasiness on your face but please be calm & cool while you go through this.

I would like to open up my heart to you, but I may lack the skill, or I'm short for words, because my heart harbors so many good feelings towards you that the dictionary seems to short to express all this.

When I saw you for the first time, I couldn¹t ever have imagined that your almost candid face, which holds a young and shy smile, was going to captivate me the way it did. We used to stand in lunch queue near each other and we used to look at each other very indifferently but one day your attention was caught my eyes leading me into the state of attraction, infatuation, bliss or whatever you say.

It perhaps started around two months back and with time the attraction or infatuation has shaped into a respect, all because of your ability to be simple while being attractive. I can see shy in your eyes (very uncommon these days) and your all way of talking, dressing etc brings delight to my heart because it's away from pomp and show.

I don't know if you have ever noticed my interest or this old passion, but now I am declaring it to you. Maybe this letter won't change at all the way you react to me, but I feel somewhat relieved for having clearly expressed these feelings I have nurtured for you for such a long time.

I have not written all this to impress you to become my girl friend and start spending weekends with me but just to be a simple friend so that I could know you better and respect you more than even before. Even you continue through e mails I don't mind.

Please do response I am eagerly waiting for it. If you don't respond I will take it as a silent acceptance. I apologize if this letter has caused any kind of trouble to you and I promise I would never try to contact you or speak about you any further but only when you let me know your views.
